PCARRD-DOST: Soaring at 24

The Philippine Council for Agriculture, Forest and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCARRD) will celebrate its 24th anniversary on Nov. 5-8. The theme of this year's celebration is "Sustainability and Economic Growth: A Challenge for the 21st Century, said PCARRD Executive Director Dr. William D. Dar. The Los Banos-based PCARRD is one of the five sectoral planning bodies of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) that monitors, coordinates, evaluates, and streamlines research and development (R&D) programs in agriculture, forestry, and natural resources.
