Feed shares the major cost of broiler production. In order to reduce cost and increase benefits for the farmers, the broilers must uli-lize feed efficiently and grow well. Since the feed/gain efficiency declines with age in broiler chicken, some strategies must be applied inorder to attain the desired market weight and sold at the opportune lime.
