The infection of pig herds with worms and mange mites result in high economic losses each year. In the U.S., losses from worm infections alone have been estimated to range from 2.5 dollar to 5.0dollar per pig. Therefore, the control and prevention ofinternal and external parasites become a vital tool to improve and safeguard profitability in each pig farm.
