DA hatches lobster in captivity

摘要

An ongoing research study on the hatching lobster indoors has shown promising result with the first successful hatching reported last Dec. 19. The study is being undertaken by the Department of agriculture's Sta Clara Research Outreach Station in Isabela, Basilan province. The same station successfully introduced lobster culture in pen in 1993 which has become a widely practiced, major income-generating activity among fishers in the island province.
