Association of Professionals in Livestock Production (APLP) 1st Symposium

UP Los Bafios had graduated a good number of students majoring in Animal Science. They have individually prospered professionally both in the public and private sector and yet remained fragmented in the absence of a professional organization. In June1995 Allan Maristela brought out the idea to form a professional association to Dr. Placido F. Alcantara, where they can gather and share their knowledge, experiences and expertise about livestock production, thus strengthening their profession. Allan Maristela and Appin Pinkiban felt that Dr. Alcantara. should form an association similar to what he did in PHILS AN (Philippine Society of Animal Nutritionists).
