NORWEGIAN major Equinor has been accused of being "evasive" over the details of its local content strategy for the billion-barrel, US$9.4 billion Bay du Nord project in eastern Canada. Located offshore Newfoundland Labrador, the deep-water field will be tapped by a huge subsea production system feeding oil to a floating production, storage and offloading vessel expected to handle some 200,000 barrels per day of oil.
