Mixed US capture prices following mixed fundamentals

Renewable capture price direction varied by region,technology and location on July 19 as supply and demandfundamentals diverged.California Independent System Operator and SouthwestPower Pool capture prices were mixed across hubs. Peakloaddemand increased by about 1.15 in both regions. Accordingto ISO data, CAISO’s wind generation fell by 18.38 and solarincreased by almost 8.In the SPP footprint, the wind capture prices were higher inthe North Hub but lower in the South Hub. CAISO’s solar pricesat the NP15 and ZP26 generation hubs increased by 8.88 and11.67, respectively, but the SP15 wind and solar capture pricesdeclined.
