摘要

A polymeric quasi-multilayer is demonstrated, which is composed of polymethyl methacrylate and polystyrene according to the generalized Dodecanacci one-dimensional sequence. The hydrostatic permittivity constant of the constituent material is based on the elasto-optic tensor, and the transmittance of the system is computed using the well-known transfer matrix method. The observations acknowledge that the number of PBGs increases with an increase in generation number and are found to be symmetric for the designed frequency. Besides, by applying the hydrostatic pressure blue shifting of PBGs is noted. The increase in layer thickness, dAas well as d(B), is introducing a red-shift of the PBGs and found to be marginally the same for both. Whereas, the practice of constant layer period thickness, where d(A) + d(B) is always the same, the impact of thickness is noticeable and found a higher slope in PBGs shift with comparably smaller bandwidth for highervalue d(A). Such properties of polymeric Dodecanacci one-dimensional quasiperiodic multilayered structures are quite useful in designing any new types of multi-band tunable optical reflectors.
