摘要

Abnormal injection pump wear caused by the inferior lubricity of low-sulfur diesel is a well known phenomenon in Europe and North America. Few Asian countries, however, are considering adoption of low-sulfur diesel fuels. Currently, only Korea,Taiwan, and Japan have started using low-sulfur diesel fuel, and little is known about the wear effects of low-sulfur diesel fuel in Asian conditions. Thailand is introducing low-sulfur diesel fuel in 1999 (Table 1).
