摘要

Proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzers are a promising technology for sustainable hydrogen production. Unfortunately, designing catalysts for these electrolyzers is challenging because of the harsh corrosive environments. This preview describes a novel strategy by Huang et al. to enhance the structural stability of water oxidation catalysts in acidic media, a step closer to sustainable hydrogen production.
