TRW plant in China adds park brake

China's first application of TRW's Electric Park Brake (EPB) will be via the China-assembled Audi A6. Production of TRW's EPB unit "will be localized in 2007 at the TRW facility in Langfang, China," said Dirk Kesselgruber, Chief Engineer of Electric Park Brake Engineering for TRW Automotive. Initial EPB production in China for China-produced vehicles is anticipated at 90,000 units annually, beginning in 2007.
