This research disclosure relates to a sustainable blend of emollients composition capable to solubilize 4 organic crystalline UV filters (Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (BMDBM), Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine (BEMT) Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate (DHHB) and Ethylhexyl Triazone (EHT) instead of the commonly used emollient C12-15 alkyl beanzoate. The percentage of UV filters in the mixture was maximum suggested concentration by European Chemicals Agency (ECHA, 2021), except Tinosorb?S (BEMT), that was considered 5 (half of maximum percentage).Organic UV filters have limited solubility and the majority dissolves in hydrophobic solvent such as emollient ingredients. If a UV filter is not well dissolved in appropriate emollients, recrystallisation and agglomeration of the UV filter and microcrystals occur. These instability phenomena will disturb the UV protection performance.Additionally, the impact to sensory properties of the sunscreen formula. Therefore,it is important to select the right emollient for sunscreen formulation.
