Titan takes to off-road tracks

Nissan has expanded its off-road racing involvement to include the Pro-2 division of the Championship Off-Road Racing (CORR) series with an all-new Titan race truck, marking the manufacturer's first full-size truck entry in a racing series. Campaigned by Team Renezeder of American Flyer Racing, the CORR Titan truck made its racing debut in early September at the Crandon International Off-Road Raceway in Wisconsin, competing in four races. In the Titan's first race, driven by Nissan driver Art Schmitt, it finished eighth in the Pro-2 division. The Titan also took fifth place in the Pro-4 division race with Carl Renezeder behind the wheel.
