Because the most daunting hurdles to profitability for dry cleaners include production and labor, Unipress Corp believes that its Versaform V4 all-purpose tensioning finisher is more valuable than ever. The company says that the V4 will finish garments no matter what process is used - laundry, wet cleaning or dry cleaning. The unit features a microprocessor with nine programs that will allow the operator to finish everything from a size 2 ladies blouse to a full-length gown, suit coat or a lab coat. The unit, Unipress says, includes centrally located air valves, color-coded air lines, high-capacity blower motors, easy-to-change pads and one-touch program selection. The company notes that factory training is available at no additional cost.
