We devote a majority of this issue to the kickoff of our annual special report called Global Viewpoints, the interview series that takes a look at the state of automotive engineering and the industry. After this month's focus on North America, look for our European report in June and prospects for Asia in August. This year's North America theme is on the future of transportation, with a focus on a few of the many visionary people and developing technologies that will form the foundation for cars and the infrastructure needed to support them for years to come.
