Truck drivers crossing into Canada are facing some confusion after the Canada Border Services Agency announced on January 12, 2022, that unvaccinated, or partially vaccinated Canadian truck drivers arriving at the U.S.-Canada border would remain exempt from prearrival, arrival, and post-arrival testing and quarantine requirements, originally announced in November 2022.The January announcement was welcomed by Canadian and U.S. trucking organizations, however, on January 13, 2022, Canadian officials clarified the vaccine requirement, causing transportation groups to call foul.
