摘要

As a teenager in Kenya, Dean Parpia's dream was eventually to take over his father's auto dealership in the capital city of Nairobi. Then life happened. Political turmoil in Africa in the 1960s forced his family to flee the country and crushed the boy's ambition. But not forever. Last year the Kenya-born U.S. citizen of Indian descent opened a dealership of his own - a Toyota-Scion store in Vacaville, Calif.
