SEMA today, showrooms tomorrow: Ford and Nissan muscle up while Scion gets funky

Various vehicles loaded with high-performance gear at last week's Specialty Equipment Market Association show will be available soon in U.S. showrooms. The SEMA show, held annually in Las Vegas, draws around 60,000 attendees. Many automakers use the event to display high-performance vehicles and factory-designed parts available at dealerships. The show also is popular with designers, who can view new paint colors, chrome and exterior parts, electronics, wheels and other appearance items.
