The Midcontinent Independent System Operator extended its hotweather and conservative operations only for its South region throughJune 26.In the Central region, Indiana Hub day-ahead on-peak was valued$4 lower on the Intercontinental Exchange to price at $99/MWh forJune 24 delivery.Power prices followed natural gas, as NGPL Nipsco dipped 17 centsto price at $6.40/MMBtu for next-day flows.Helping drive prices lower, SP Global Commodity Insightsprojected peakload demand for June 24 to drop 3.6 from peakloadseen June 23 to 92.7 GW.
