A setup for determining the amount of gaseous fission products formed during irradiation in fissile materials is described. To determine the amount of gaseous fission products that have escaped under the cladding, the method of puncturing a sealed ampoule is used, and the amount of gaseous fission products accumulated in closed pores is determined by the crushing method (ceramics). In addition, the setup makes it possible to determine the diffusion mobility of fission products during heating and their total amount in the material by melting the sample. The sensitivity of determining, for example, helium is 0.3 mm(3) under normal conditions and the error is +/- 5 from the measured value.
