摘要

In the present study,316L stainless steel(55)surface was modified with nano yttria stabilized zirconia(YSZ)and nano chitosan by electrophoretic deposition(EPD)and dip coating method.Further,characterizations using XRD,FTIR,FESEM with ED AX confirmed the structural and morphological properties of the coated samples.The corrosion behavior of nano chitosan/YSZ coated 316L 55 samples in artificial saliva medium with different concentrations of citric acid and tartaric acid was studied using open circuit potential(OCP)time measurements,Nyquist impedance and cyclic potentiodynamic polarization studies(CPP).The composition and the morphology of nano chitosan/YSZ coated 316L 55 samples were analyzed by SEM with ED AX and XRD.The cell viability of nano chitosan/YSZ coated 316L 55 and uncoated 316L 55 samples was analyzed by the MTT assay method.
