The US Northeast renewable capture prices for Aug. 2 increased to triple digits from their previous SP Global Commodity Insights values, as wholesale electricity prices rose, pushed higher by above-normal temperatures in the region. In the ISO New England, Boston high temperatures were forecast to rise to the lower 90s F, up from 85 F, while in the New York Independent System Operator, New York City highs were set to rise to 87 F, up from 77 F, according to CustomWeather data.
