Prior to 1990,Bruce worked in ICI Australia and achieved a Diploma of Agriculture from Dookie Agricultural College and later graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Economics.After ICI,he entered into a partnership at Kendon Chemicals,then secured a job working for Parke Sinclair Chemicals selling propylene glycol.Following that,he worked at Ajax Chemicals and then joined Tiger Chemicals in 1990 and worked for Rex Gordon until 2011,and subsequently transferred to DKSH.
