Hyundai sees new Tucson as its phoenix in the crossover market

Upscale redesign seeks a rebirth in a key segment. Hyundai's Tucson has been largely a no-show in the small-crossover segment, but Hyundai wants to change that with the redesigned 2010 model. The new Tucson will not be offered with a V-6 engine, but it comes with a four-cylinder that is more powerful than the outgoing six-cylinder and more fuel-efficient than the four-cylinder it replaces.
