Novatek and JBIC Sign Deal to Cooperate On Several Low-Carbon Russian Projects

Moscow— Novatek announced it has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) to work together on a variety of low-carbon projects in Russia. Specifically, the parties intend to cooperate on projects to produce hydrogen and ammonia, carbon capture, utilization, and storage technologies, as well as renewable energy projects in Russia, including ammonia and hydrogen production projects in the Yamal Peninsula.
