Petrobras, Ecopetrol Eye Resurgent Chinese Oil Demand

Latin American state oil companies Petrobras and Ecopetrol see Chinese oil demand picking upagain as the country comes out of Covid-19 lockdowns, even as Russia continues to fl ood Easternmarkets with discounted crude in the wake of Western sanctions. The fi rms both experienced a dip in oil exports toward the end of 2022 as China and India bought upmore discounted Russian crude, trading executives said at the Argus Americas Crude Summit inHouston on Friday.
