The Svenska Flygvapnet (Swedish Air Force) operates three different types of manned intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) assets. For signals intelligence (SIGINT) taskings, the air arm uses the Gulfstream S 102B Korpen. It also employs Saab's S 100D Argus airborne early warning and control (AEWC) aircraft and its OS 100 for photo-reconnaissance operations under the Open Skies Treaty. Together with the OS 100 - a refitted TP 100A/C transport aircraft - the S 100D Argus and S 102B Korpen fleets are operated from Malmen Air Base in Linkoeping. All three types are assigned to the Flygvapnet's Specialflygdivisionen (Special Mission Squadron), a component of the F7 Skaraborgs Flygflottilj (Skaraborg Wing), headquartered at Satenaes in Sweden's Lidkoeping municipality.
