Menu-selling software, which has helped auto dealerships increase finance and insurance profits, now is boosting service and parts business as well. For years, dealerships have offered customers printed lists of repair and maintenance services. An electronic menu that uses the software allows a service department to customize its list to a particular vehicle and its mileage. The menu also ensures that dealership shops present their services thoroughly and consistently, providers of the software say. Some menu software allows dealerships to sell F&I products from their service lanes.
