Toyota: Venza is a trendsetter, not a crossover

FARMINGTON, Pa. - Toyota's new Venza looks like a crossover, drives like a crossover and competes with vehicles that are proud to be called crossovers. But Toyota Division boss Bob Carter said at the press introduction here that "we don't view Venza as a crossover." Instead, he said, the vehicle "establishes an exciting new direction in passenger car design."
