Eastman has introduced a new line of adhesion promoters designed to keep paint and coatings users compliant with regulatory changes.According to the company,Advantis~TM adhesion promoters limit or remove materials of concern(MOCs)and can be used as a drop-in replacement for traditional adhesion promoters that use materials like cumene,which was recendy recategorized as carcinogen category IB in the European Union.The company says that Advantis products consist of modified polypropylene and polyethylene polymers that adhere better to untreated Dlastics and other difficult-to-bond-to surfaces.
