Shell, Petronas Ink CCS Agreement

Petronas and Royal Dutch Shell have signed an agreement to explore carbon capture and storage (CCS) opportunities in Malaysia and the broader region as part of their decarbonization plans. The companies will study selected areas off the Malaysian state of Sarawak that could be used to store carbon dioxide emissions from Shell facilities, as well as from other potential customers in the region.
