This Session was chaired by Mr.Nitin M.Kantak,Whole Time Director-MCFL Executive Director-ZACL,Bengaluru,Karnataka.Five papers were presented in the session viz.(i)Green Chemicals: New Routes in Ammonia Production by Mr.Atul Bhalerao,Senior General Manager Head of Market Development,thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions(India)Pvt.Ltd.,Mumbai;(ii)Toyo's Latest Innovations in Urea Synthesis Technology and Sustainable Urea Production by Mr.Takahiro Yanagawa,Senior Process Engineer Project Engineer of Urea RD,Toyo Engineering Corporation,Japan;(iii)Low Carbon Production of Ammonia and Urea by Mr.Vivek K.Gupta,Manager(Process Engineering),Kribhco Fertilizers Limited,Shahjahanpur,Uttar Pradesh;(iv)Reducing Environmental Footprint of Acid and Complex Fertilizer Production at IFFCO Paradeep by Mr.K.J.Patel,Director Unit Head,Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited,Paradeep,Odisha; and(v)Potash Fertilizer Production Technologies to Harness Indigenous Feedstocks/Initiatives by Dr.Pratyush Maiti,Chief Scientist,CSIR-Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute,Bhavnagar,Gujarat.
