In the California carbon market, California Carbon Allowanceprices dropped up to 6.38, with the current month strip assessed at$29.05/Allowance, down $1.98 on the week. The July and Decemberstrips were assessed at $29.16/Allowance an $29.54/Allowance,respectively, also lower on the week.On the Intercontinental Exchange, CCA V21 for December 2022delivery traded at $29.95/Allowance. Brokers reported bid and offer levelsfor CCA V23 delivered in December 2023 around $31.60/Allowance-$31.70/Allowance.In the related carbon offset market, California Carbon Offset pricesdropped 80 cents across all strips, with the next December stripassessed at $17.85/mt.
