South Korea's Kumho P&B runs two phenol units at 90-100%

MELBOURNE (ICIS)--South Korean producer Kumho P&B Chemicals is running two of its three phenol/acetone units at 90-100% capacity, a company source said on Thursday. The two plants that are operational are the new No 4 unit and the existing No 3 unit. Kumho's new unit, which was commissioned in June, has a capacity to manufacture 300,000 tonnes/year of phenol and 180,000 tonnes/year of acetone.
