Polystyrene/bentonite/magnetite film composite materials are obtained by mechanical dispersion. The films are characterized by optical microscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. The thermal behavior is studied by differential scanning calorimetry in a temperature range of 40-140 degrees C. A nonmonotone dependence of the glass-transition point of the composite on the concentration of the modifying additive is found. An explanation of the obtained experimental results using a configuration entropy model is proposed.
