ECB holds rates, QE levels as Brexit effects yet unclear

LONDON (ICIS)--The European Central Bank (ECB) on Thursday left key interest rates and quantitative easing (QE) levels in the eurozone unchanged with the benchmark rate for refinancing operations at its historic 0.0% levels. The rate for marginal lending facilities was also left unchanged at 0.25% while the deposit interest rate - the rate banks need to pay to keep deposits within the ECB's coffers - stayed at a minus 0.4%.
