Brazil' s Petrobras closes sale of Japanese refiner Nansei

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Petrobras has completed the sale of its 100% stake in Japanese refiner Nansei Sekiyu to Taiyo Oil, the Brazilian energy major said on Thursday. Under the previously announced deal, Taiyo paid $165m for Nansei, which was sold through a bidding process. Nansei has a refinery with a processing capacity of 100,000 bbl/day on Okinawa, along with 9.5m barrels of oil and oil products storage, three piers and related assets.
