Westinghouse Electric Company has signed memorandums of understanding with 10 Polish companies for cooperation on the potential deployment of six AP1000 plants in Poland and other potential reactor projects in Central and Eastern Europe. The following companies signed MOUs with Westinghouse: 1. Rafako, a supplier of technological solutions for energy generation and environmental protection. 2. ZKS Ferrum, a provider of iron components and metallurgical material. 3. KB Pomorze, a specialist in engineering, procurement, and mechanical construction works on power generation plants, petrochemical plants, and more. 4. Mostostal Krakow, a provider of services in fabrication and assembly of steel structures and equipment installation. 5. OMIS, a provider of design services for investments, general contracting for industrial and power facilities and modernizations, and extensions and repairs of power and industrial systems. 6. GP Baltic, a manufacturer and supplier of fully equipped vessels for Polish and foreign shipowners. 7. Polimex Mostostal, a provider of services that include energy facility design, completion of deliveries, construction, and assembly works. 8. Fogo, a manufacturer of power generators. 9. Zarmen Group, a company involved with the execution of industrial investments. 10. Protea Group, a supplier of overhead cranes, gantry cranes, pedestal cranes, davit cranes, and other hoisting systems for industry.
