(Abstracted from J Minim Invasive Gynecol 2022;29:1157–1164) Approximately 70 of women are affected with uterine leiomyomata (ULM) by the age of menopause. Uterine leiomyomata disease accounts for 29 of gynecologic hospitalizations among women aged 15 to 54 years.
