Laser Diagnostics of Equilibrium a CO_2: N_2 Gas Mixture

A technique and results of determination of the carbon dioxide partial pressure and temperature in a vibrationally equilibrium CO_2: N_2 gas mixture are described. Measurements were conducted under pressure providing for the Lorentz contour of the absorption line, on the basis of the spectral distribution of the unsaturated absorption coefficient at lines of generation of the 10~00-00~01 transition of a CO_2 tunable laser.
