US Westlake restarts Kentucky complex; FM remains

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Westlake Chemical is restarting its complex in Calvert City, Kentucky, after a six-week outage that will hit the company financially to the tune of $40m, the company announced on Monday. Westlake said that the $40m hit to its earnings will affect both the second- and thirdquarter financial results, with nearly half of that felt in the third quarter.
