LONDON (ICIS)--The European acrylic acid (AA) and acrylate esters markets are moving towards 2017 amid lingering supply uncertainty caused by the explosion and consequent fire at BASF’s Ludwigshafen site in mid-October. The incident has been monopolising the market’s attention for the past couple of months as supply has turned significantly tight, especially when it comes to butylacrylate (butyl-A), 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (2-EHA) and AA.
