China’s Zhejiang Wankai New Materials Co cuts PET production

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Zhejiang Wankai New Materials Co has cut its PET production amid the seasonal lull in demand, a company source said on Friday. The company last week cut the run rates at its 400,000 tonnes/year condensation polymerisation (CP) unit and has shut its one of its solid state polymerisation (SSP) units which has around 100,000 tonnes/year of capacity, the source said.
