Swiss Clariant, US’ CB&I to design dehydrogenation unit in China

LONDON (ICIS)--Clariant and CB&I have been awarded a contract for the design of a propane and butane dehydrogenation unit for China’s Hengli Petrochemical Refinery using their proprietary catalyst technologies, the Swiss and US firms said on Tuesday. The contract, for which the two companies did not disclose financial details, will include the licence and engineering design of the co-processing unit to be built in Liaoning province’s Dalian.
