The main characteristics of “photonic nanojets” (the cross-section size, length, and peak inten-sity) formed in the vicinity of micron-sized composite particles consisting of a core and several shells with dif-ferent refractive indices are considered. It is shown that it is possible to manipulate the parameters of a “pho-tonic nanojet”, in particular, extend its size or increase its peak intensity by changing the refractive index of the neighboring shells in the composite spherical microparticles.
