US Westlake Q4 net income, sales suffer on lower pricing

LONDON (ICIS)--Westlake Chemical Corporation posted a fourth-quarter net income at $111m, down 39% year on year, as higher sales volumes could not offset lower selling prices, the US chemical producer said on Tuesday. Sales during the fourth quarter stood at $987m, down 13% year on year.
