May 2022 imports were 15,964 tons which was 1,000 tons above the license number from last month. June licenses are flat at 15,398 tons. The July forecast, with 6 of 20 days counted, suggests 21,710 tons. In an import-dominant market these higher levels are a good sign. This July forecast is the fifth month in a row with very strong volumes early month with a drop off in volume near month end.
