Europe butane coaster prices soften on weaker blending demand

Prices for European butane coasters (1,000-3,000 tonne cargoes) have softened as a percentage of naphtha this week on the back of weaker blending demand, sources said on Friday. Sources noted demand for butane coasters from the gasoline sector had diminished this week. Demand from the sector has seen an uptick in recent weeks, as the market switched from summer to winter grades.
