DALLAS (ICIS)--Significant investment in US petrochemicals will drive growth and provide jobs although the sector faces the impact of the increased burden of regulation, the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) said on Sunday. “Twenty fifteen was a very good year for the petrochemicals industry,” AFPM president Chet Thompson said prior to the opening of the 41st AFPM International Petrochemical Conference. “And we are optimistic that it’s going to be another good year.”
