Crude futures rise more than $1/bbl on weak US dollar, stock rally

LONDON (ICIS)--Crude futures on Tuesday rose over $1/bbl compared with the previous close as traders gained confidence from an improved performance by stock markets, a weaker US dollar and concerns over global supply. Brent crude hit a high of $47.43/bbl so far on Tuesday, up $1.18 from the previous close.
